ENGAGE 2026 · Oct 03, 2026
Narrow the roster to the people the message is for, take back out anybody it is not for, write it, and read the list before it goes — then send it now, or set it for a date and time and leave. Or set one before every session, to the people down to run each of them. Everything waiting is on the Scheduled tab, and can be reworded or called off until it fires.
Five filters, and each takes as many answers as you like. Within a box they are an or — Students and Entrepreneurs means either — and between boxes an and, so those two networks with the Speaker role is the speakers in either of them. Pick from a box and it is listed underneath; click one of those to take it back out. Each box offers only answers somebody on the roster actually holds, so no option here finds nobody.
The same six, taking as many answers each, reading them the same way, and taking people back out of the list above. So Students, Entrepreneurs with Speaker leaves out the speakers in either network and nobody else. Leave a box empty and it asks nothing; leave them all empty and nobody is left out — this row only ever takes people away, never adds them. The counts in the boxes are the roster's, the same as above; how many it takes off the list actually in front of you is the left out tile.
Plain text, no links of its own beyond the placeholders below. What you write is what is sent: the server fills those in and nothing else. The first four are about the person — {name} is a first name on its own, {full} the whole of it with their title. The gold ones are about the session, so picking one below is what makes them mean anything. Three of those are facts about it and read the same to everybody on the run; {session_verb} and {session_role} are what that person is down to do at it, and anybody not on the session is skipped by name rather than sent a sentence with a hole in it.
Leave this empty and Send now is the only button that does anything. Put a date and time in it and the reminder is kept until then, with the people you picked and the words you wrote. Nothing is worked out until it fires — a number corrected on Thursday is the number a Saturday reminder dials, and a room moved on Friday night is the room it names.

Sets a reminder for each session on the agenda, an hour before it starts, to the people down to run it. No filters here: who it goes to is the programme, read when each one fires — so a speaker added to Hall A at seven in the morning gets the eight o'clock text, and somebody taken off does not. Sessions nobody is down to speak or facilitate at are left out, and so is anything whose hour has already passed.
Everything waiting, soonest first, and underneath it what became of the ones that have already come round. A reminder can be called off right up until it fires; after that there is no unsending a text.
